Usual Attendance at Market:  Weekly

Mr Bun is a 3rd generation baker who has been in the business about 60 years. The family business began in London, but they have worked in various locations, including the USA, and have run 5 shops. The bakery has operated from nearby Church Stretton now for approximately 10 years. Hence all the bread is very local.

Mr Bun begins his baking work at about 9pm at night, working 12 hour shifts to ensure his delicious fresh bread is ready for customers early in the morning. Indeed it is often still warm from the oven when it goes on sale!

A number of different breads and rolls are available to customers: White, Wholemeal, Donker (malted rye), Rye (plain Rye), Cornbread, Wholemeal & Walnut, Spelt & Honey (Spelt being a very fine flour dating back to Roman times) and Soda Bread (no yeast). A number of fruit pies are available: Apple,Apple & Blackberry, Winberry, Raspberry, Rhubarb and Apricot. There are also delicious buns, such as: Chocolate Brownies, Chelsea Buns, Butter Buns, Iced Fingers, Flapjacks and Scones. Warren, who runs the stall, is happy to accept orders for bread/cakes or answer any queries from customers
